As of Fall 2022, Texas State University has moved to a new course catalog.

If your English major or minor block on your degree plan shows 4 groups (A, B, C ,& D), you need to refer to the course descriptions marked Catalog #1.

If your English major or minor block on your degree plan shows 5 groups (A, B, C, D, & E), you need to refer to the course descriptions marked Catalog #2.

Choose this option if your English major or minor block on your degree audit shows 4 groups:

B: American Literature

C: World Literature

D: Forms, Language, and Writing

Catalog #2 Fall

Choose this option if your English major or minor block on your degree audit shows 5 groups:

A: British Literature

B: American Literature

C: Global Literature

D: Media, Genre, and Visual Studies

E: Writing Studies and Practice
